Nice find, thanks. I thought I’d start at the beginning and on part 1 he mentions how a soft felt or felt style board is preferable because with the traditional wooden ones you might find the repeated sound of the wooden dice being thrown onto the board gets annoying.
Now all I can think about it how good that would sound. Some full length tournament games from the related videos have constant quiet crowd murmur plus repeated dice throwing sounds. One of these has to have the wooden boards surely…
