Some of you Gen-X readers may remember this game called Galaxian. I know I do. Wow games sucked back then, but I remember being so impressed at the time. Funny. Anyway, the guy in this video has a professional grade relaxing voice. He could narrate anything.

I’m a young kid and I can say this game is still a classic. Don’t say it sucks. This is a forerunner.
I concur (though I’m not exactly young…ish? [I'm 20])! Looks like Connacht07 disagrees though, lol.
Games like this are, as the video shows, important parts of gaming history and introduce things we now take for granted in gaming.
Sadly I’m a sucker for this stuff so it makes me less sleepy and more alert but much more relaxed and soothed, so not a good one for me to watch before bed, but Stuart’s (the guy in the vid) voice is like auditory melting butter. Fantastic stuff.
It sucks…
Haha I try to be as negative as possible to bring some balance to this site, but mostly because I get a kick out of it. Honestly I loved this video and the development of video games is pretty amazing in general.
This was not relaxing in the least, but it was muy interesante.
While I didn’t find this video to be relaxing exactly (not in a sensory sort of way at least, it was as relaxing as any slow paced review might be at least), it was an enjoyable video to watch. Having said that, I care about the subject matter so that’s just the gamer in me.
I will say that early computer games certainly don’t suck. Even modern gamers tend to appreciate simple games too – people like full length games but people also love the pick and and play style too.
Deliberate negativity to balance the site? I see this place as an antidote to all the negativity online
I agree with your reply to the obvious troll mention of “negativity to balance the site” thankfully, this lovely relaxing site is devoid of small children playing around on their parents devices
Yea I gotta admit I just watched this whole vid fully alert… no yawns this way, this stuff is really interesting.
I’m 45. Yes, as a Gen X person, I remember this game. The 20 year old, you are a little boy to me amd very young btw.
