I remember once at a friend’s house their kid sitting behind me on the sofa while I sat on the floor asked me if I wanted “dreadlocks”. I said okay since she was little and I didnt want to hurt her feelings or whatever. I just thought it would be stupid, LOL! But once she started working on my hair, the waves of extreme relaxation took me by surprise almost immediately. It was one of the best 20 or 30 minutes I’ve ever had in my life!
My hair looked like crap of course, but no biggie, it was worth it…:p

In my early 20s, I worked in a daycare center. I had very long hair, and some days, the 5 year old kids would ask to brush my hair. It was awesome! I had to train a couple to be more gentle, but once they got the hang of it, it was the best perk of my job.
